-It is believed that WWE will officially announce revisions of the Wellness Policy within the next few weeks, closing loopholes like the prescriptions farce and making public that they are now testing for marijuana and releasing offenders names.

-One thing that did come to light in the CNN Death Grip documentary is that WWE allows anyone with a prescription from a doctor to be exempt from what ever may have been flagged during testing. The media knows that this is the loophole wrestlers use to "legally" take performance enhancing drugs, getting them way over prescribed from mark doctors and online pharmacies.

-As of today Edge has been medically cleared to wrestle following his pectoral tear injury. It's now a case of when WWE wants to bring him back and it obviously seems to be the Survivor Series PPV.

-WWE has put nearly all of Carlito's merchandise available on WWEShop.com on clearance. They rarely do this to nearly all of a wrestler's merchandise unless he is no longer affiliated with the company. Carlito made two special appearances on the Smackdown/ECW tour in Puerto Rico because that is his home country and obviously the market where he means the most. Carlito jobbed to Matt Hardy & Rey Mysterio on two shows on the tour. Fans where shocked by the result of his match with Matt Hardy considering that San Juan is his hometown. He was also on the losing end of a six-man tag match on Friday, but did not take the pinfall. As noted last week, Carlito is said to be unhappy with the direction WWE has been pushing him in as of late. It it is being said that he requested to be released from the company last week. WWE has not granted him a release yet but may do so this week.

-WWE has announced a 10 Divas Tag Team Match for Survivor Series this Sunday featuring WWE Women's Champion Beth Phoenix, Jillian Hall, Melina, Victoria & Layla vs. Mickie James, Maria, Torrie Wilson, Michelle McCool and Kelly Kelly.

-Photos of WWE's Raw brand in Australia are up at WWE.com. Photos of WWE's Smackdown & ECW brands in Puerto Rico are up at WWE.com as well.

-As announced earlier, Kane & Rey Mysterio vs. Finlay & Big Daddy V is scheduled for ECW tomorrow night in Wichita, KS. Also announced for the Smackdown taping the same night is The Hardys vs. Mr. Kennedy & MVP and Batista vs. Mark Henry.

-WWE's official website has posted an interesting kayfabe article asking why Snitsky can't find any competition on the Raw brand. They presume that perhaps the upper echelon of WWE Superstars are scared of him. They also concede that Snitsky has been MIA on Raw for the most part since his move from ECW and that he usually appears on WWE.com's Heat, terrorizing up-and-comers. The article states that he is the only WWE star that has yet to be pinned in 2007.

-Fabulous Moolah held off her shoulder replacement surgery for years, since she knew that once she had the surgery, her wrestling career would be over. She finally had the surgery to her left shoulder the day before Halloween. WWE called Moolah before the surgery offering to take care of her expense, but she informed them that she had insurance and didn't need financial assistance. After the surgery, she was in a lot of pain for the next few days. She got nauseous on Friday, November 2nd, and after she was given a shot, she was no longer breathing. It is believed that she may have had a heart attack, likely caused by the stress from the surgery, or possibly a blood clot stemming from the surgical procedure.

-To update everyone on the missing Divas pages from WWE.com, apparently it's not a decision of the creative team even though everything that's put on WWE.com is approved by the WWE creative team first. The Divas section are an important and high trafficked part of WWE.com. One source in WWE creative is saying that the removal of the Divas from the site was not something that creative wanted to do and there is some kind of behind the scenes issue that the company is trying to work out regarding the WWE Divas being on the site.

-John Morrison was asked about his recent WWE suspension by The Sun in the UK. A WWE rep stopped Morrison, and said "no comment." When the publication asked if Morrison regretted what happened, the WWE rep interrupted again and said "this is not a topic that we want to discuss." In the interview, Morrison also said he is still with Melina, even though, Batista stated in his book that his relationship with her has gotten physical.

-John Cena's triple disc DVD set, My Life, comes out tomorrow. The disc is 540 minutes long and features his career in and out of the ring with exclusive interviews and more. This will be the second Cena DVD that WWE has released.

-Universal Studios, where TNA's programming is taped, is teaming up with WWE for the WrestleMania/Universal travel package. The packages start at $279 per adult and included two nights hotel stay at a Universal Partner hotel, a WrestleMania 24 ticket, unlimited admission to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure theme parks, transportation between the hotel and Universal as well as discounts on shopping and dining throughout the parks.

-WWE is doing a three-brand house show on 1/26 in Providence, RI, the night before the Royal Rumble. WWE is also running a three-brand house show the night before the Survivor Series in Fort Myers, FL. Knock on wood…

-Congress sent letters to a number of WWE stars regarding steroids. The key question being asked is if Vince McMahon ever told them to take steroids. More than likely, he hasn't, not to mention that he doesn't need to. Furthermore, it doesn't look like the previously scheduled Congress/pro wrestling hearings will be happening. The current session ends in a week or so and it's not on any schedule for hearings.

-What with Kristal Marshall's release from WWE a few weeks ago, it looks like the planned Vickie Guerrero storyline has been dropped. Original plans for the storyline called for Vickie & Kristal to find out that Theodore Long had a heart condition and to conspire to work together to get him to take Viagra to trigger a heart attack so that Vickie could be the lone General Manager on SmackDown. Instead, Vickie will simply be a babyface General Manager that stands up to men. Also, there's no word yet on what they're going to do with Theodore Long. They were giving health updates on Long, but they stopped doing that after a week or two. Long was assured that he wasn't going to be dropped as a television character.

-TNA star Booker T (<-- doesn't that sound weird?) has been booked for the 12/20 IGF Tokyo show at the Ariake Colosseum show.

-In a renewal of their 2003 feud, TNA's Booker T will be wrestling Christian Cage in Beaumont, TX at his PWA show. This will be his first listed singles match since leaving WWE.

-As noted earlier here on the site, Traci Brooks legitimately passed out at ringside during the end of the Samoa Joe vs. Robert Roode match last night at the TNA Genesis pay-per-view. She was standing at ringside and just collapsed. Referee Earl Hebner and some EMT's came down to ringside out to check on her. Brooks appears to be okay as she wasn't seriously hurt and was walking around later in the evening with no ill effects. It is believed that she was overheated.

-TNA's official website was down for a few hours earlier today due to the exorbitant amount of traffic that usually follows their pay-per-view events. The site is up and running fine now though. Also, due to a high traffic load following last month's Bound For Glory pay-per-view, TNA's official website was down for a day or so.

-As noted earlier, former ECW star Sabu was backstage in Orlando for TNA's iMPACT! tapings. He was just visiting and did not appear on the tapings. Sabu was released by WWE several months ago and is currently a free agent.

-Alex Shelley has said that he has pushed for TNA to sign Ring of Honor stand out Claudio Castagnoli in the past.

-No word on drug testing in TNA, other than, there is still no drug testing TNA.

-Christian Cage and Kaz were both banged up after their ladder match at last night’s TNA Genesis pay-per-view, however, neither performer was severely injured.

-Lineups for New Japan's final series of 2007, "NEW JAPAN 35TH ANNIVERSARY TOUR ~ CIRCUIT 2007 NEW JAPAN ALIVE", have been announced. It is a very interesting tour to follow up on Sumo Hall with, again dominated largely by the young generation, with Nakamura's return bolstering BLACK. For the first time, we will see Nakamura and Goto unite as they battle Sekigun and GBH, although you'll notice they won't be facing Legend at all, that feud perhaps being saved for 2008. There are many interesting matches, starting with an Elimination Match on the tour opener, then in Kyoto on the 25th, it's another a young generation frenzy, with Goto facing Makabe in the main event and Nakamura battling Yano. Taguchi will answer Wataru's challenge in Osaka when he faces the returning Mr. High Tension in his V5 defense of the IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Title. The customary year end Aichi show is very big this time, with give special singles matches, topped by one of New Japan's better pairings of the past year or so, Tanahashi vs. Bernard. This will be a non-title match. Right alongside it is Nakamura vs. Makabe, picking up the feud from earlier this year that Makabe won, but Nakamura seems to have regained a step since then. Nagata vs. Tomko, Goto vs. Yano, and Koshinaka vs. Milano round off the series. New Japan welcomes a new foreigner, Steve Madison, for the tour. Those who followed NJ a few years ago will remember he was supposed to tour, but got injured and it didn't happen. Madison has experience in WWE, WJ, BIG MOUTH LOUD, Ring of Honor, WWC, IWA Puerto Rico, and other promotions.

-Tanahashi and President Sugabayashi held a press conference to discuss yesterday's show and the ace's next challenger. Tanahashi said that yesterday he held a key to New Japan's future yesterday, and finally opened the door using it, saying New Japan has now truly rushed into a new stage. Despite Makabe and Nakamura's appeals for a shot at Tanahashi yesterday and their Aichi singles match, which could potentially be used as a #1 contendership fight, Sugabayashi said Tanahashi's first preference for his January 4th defense at the Tokyo Dome is a TNA warrior. He wants to entrust Tanahashi's V2 challenger to TNA management, and expects a suitable challenger to be nominated by them.

-WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan was spotted on television last night during the Indianapolis-San Diego football game. The commentators were talking about big biceps and they cut to Hogan doing a front double biceps pose.

-Former WWE superstar Nick "U Gene" Dinsmore and Buff Bagwell will be appearing for Global Championship Wrestling on November 17th at the Pell City Civic Center in Pell City Alabama.

-Bret Hart will be at the 12/2 Toronto Marlies hockey game at Ricoh Coliseum to speak on behalf of Stroke Recovery Canada, a program of March of Dimes Canada. Bret will be on hand for the ceremonial puck drop, and will sign autographs and take pictures with fans. The Toronto Marlies have provided all supporters of Hart and the March of Dimes special tickets discounted to $20 for side seats, with $5 going to March of Dimes and accessible seats have been discounted to $17 with $2 going to March of Dimes.

-As noted earlier today here on the site, Nicolas Cage is now out as the star of the upcoming film "The Wrestler" and has been replaced by Mickey Rourke. There remains no word on why this change went down. Cage seemed very interested and even attended last weekend's Ring of Honor event in New York researching for the role.
