{Editor's Note: We always joked around, Hater and I, that the only way an article entirely about TNA would be written is if we had a third writer. Spaz (freebird23 on the boards) proved that was the case, as he writes a feature editorial that goes in detail to show how the Hard Justice PPV flaunted many of the promotion's flaws.

TNA's annual Old West justice based PPV event has just taken place, and just like last year, continued to fuel TNA on it's road to mediocrity If you're into the burying of 6 of the best wrestlers in the world in one match, random Raven, poor publicity stunts and the furthered demise of Samoa Joe, then Hard Justice is the PPV for you.

Truthfully, I rarely ever buy a TNA PPV. It's usually the same thing: Alex Shelley loses, Abyss bumps, a million run ins and Don West's continuing pissing on the grave of Gordon Solie. But tonight, I looked at the card and I thought "Hey...we may have a winner here." I mean Joe vs. Angle...this used to be a dream match for me. AND a low rent War Games variation....and Pac Man Jones!!! So being a mark, I bought it and here's the recap if you will.
I must note, I was disappointed by the lack of a preshow match. They ran an 30 min Angle/Joe feud vid. Lame. TNA's preshow matches were always fun. The only places in which one could see Nigel McGuiness, Jimmy Jacobs and Johnny B Badd on PPV anymore. More so Johnny now. But legit, their preshow bouts are usually good. Even the Lance Hoyt ones.

Show opened with a lot of videos. Angle/Joe and Pacman stuff mainly. Nothing really good. The Pacman junk did it's job. The picture throughout the PPV however looked horrid. It looked like it was taped. Which wouldn't shock me.

Opener was Black Harold and Kumar (Jay Lethal and Sonjay Dutt) vs. Triple X's Chris Daniels and Low Ki and The Murder City Machine Guns (Shellbin). Really good match. Had big time ROH vibes, epically in the finish. Although I love matches like this with these guys, I hate it because it buries all of them even more. I mean Daniels is main event talent and easily the best overall worker in the company. Ki and Lethal are both major talents. Sabin should have broken through into the main roster storylines YEARS ago. And the saddest cases; Shelley and Dutt. Dutt is the company's best flier and is regulated to a Ghandi gimmick. Shelley is more over than half of the roster....I'm sounding like a hardcore smark right now. Lame. You mainly have to know that TNA has NO CLUE how to book these 6 and it illustrates tremendously here. Lame finish with Lethal winning via roll up

Storyline time!! Kurt Angle's wife is apparently fucking some dude that looks like one of the Thomaselis in CZW. I'd prefer if TNA put the money in for Necro to be Karen Angle's new BF. I'm sorry, but the idea of Necro piledriving a gal makes me laugh. And I don't mean the move. Huddla huddla.

Frankie Kazarian beat Raven in yet another match in a series of matches no one gives a fuck about. Raven reformed the Flock with 3 legit good workers, something he's never done before. But during that time, Raven got huge and could barley do anything. I forgot about the whole thing. Next thing I know Kazarian's feuding with Raven. I don't care. neither does anyone else. I pissed during this match.

Storyline Time!! Angle's crazy. Yep, that works.

The guy from AMW with the hat beat Rhino in a "Barroom Brawl." Sweet Memphis booking here. This one was my favorite of the night. In case you don't watch, the feud is James Storm drinks and Rhino used to but he quit so now Storm throws beers at Rhino. Makes sense to me. Nice little brawl here. But the star of this one was Rhino, who proceeded to play it up like he went back on the wagon or however the analogy goes, and was wasted for the entire match. Hilarious. Best wrestling drunk since Hawk. Maybe this could be the gimmick Rhino needs, seeing as he's been the "IM SO FUCKIN INTENSE I RUN DURIN MY ENTRANCE..>RAWR!!!!" guy for like 10 years now. It's old. Maybe he should punch out his wife again...people cared about him when he did that.

Some random bitch interviews the Truth...I'll get to him later.

LAX beat the New Age Outlaws via a Guerrero run in. Sadly it wasn't zombie Eddie. :(  Billy Gunn was legit wearing tights worn by Torrie Wilson tonight. Gay. Even gayer? The continued death of LAX. I was and still am a big fan of LAX. It's one of the better gimmicks I've seen in years and has a legit talented core in Homicide and Hotstuff Hernandez, who should be MEing by now. Granted Konnan really made the group what it was, they still were the best thing TNA had for a long time. Now, they're essentially job monkeys. Even though it appears Hector Guerrero will be their new Konnan, it won't help. They're becoming the Naturals fast. I think a ROH run would be smart for both...especially Cide. At least he could attempt to talk there.

Bobby Roode beat Eric Young. Bleh. I HATE Eric Young. Easily the worst grad of the BCW school in Windsor. He adds nothing. He's a shit worker, shit interview, shit look. Shit in general. He makes Lashley look like Lou Thez. And I Legit mean that. Bobby Roode on the other hand, is incredibly talented. Great everything. Yet is buried by a Dibase lite gimmick. Lame. Shit match with a lamer Memphis Tar and Feather finish. Only good thing=more Tracy Brooks tit. Which is nice.

Chris Harris beat Goldust via DQ. I've always loved Dustin Rhodes, and I actually think he'll do well in TNA now. He's working a schizo gimmick with Black Reign as his alter ego. It's essentially Goldust but silver instead of gold. He destroyed Harris, squash style. Harris can't get over if he tried, and feeding him to Dustin is brilliant. And the fact Rhodes appears to be using a Sullivan Spike as a weapon makes me hard. Go Dustin! w00t.

Steiner Bros beat The Dudleyz. I hate admitting this, but I loved this match. I'm a tag team mark and this was actually a good match. Dudleyz are consistent as always, but it was the first time I saw the Steiners as a team in YEARS and honestly they did well for men their age. I mark huge for Scott and the fact he pulled off a top rope Frankensteiner tonight deserves props. Rick definitely dropped BuhBuh on his head and looked intense, but besides that no real big botches. Steiner capped off with the Bulldog Device for the win, as I marked like a 8 year old Cena fan. Le sigh, I suck.

Pacman Jones debuts. Ugh. Almost immediately I saw he has the charisma of Chris Benoit now. He can't talk. He's not real big. He can't do anything apparently per his contract. Why hire him besides the news shit they documented 13 times during the show? Despite that, he got the nice pyro opening. The fact he's not coming out to "Make It Rain" angers me. BUUUTT the always lame Impact Zone fans shocked me by doing something funny, throwing up Monopoly Money as Jones entered the ring. Nice. I bet they started a "That Was Awesome" chant following that compliment. Bad promo by Jones, leading to Ron Killings crashing stuff and being the Austin to Jones' Tyson here. Killings, I believe is one of the more underrated wrestlers world wide. He can talk and wrestle very well and has what it takes to be incredibly over. Yet isn't. Lame. I think he's the perfect guy to be in on this angle. He could and will make Jones entertaining and will most likely get the rub for being in the celeb angle. But yeah, craptastic. Jones got "beat up" afterwards. Bleh

Team Sting beat the Christian Coalition in PussyWar Games. Terrible. It was essentially first blood War Games, I think? Anything with Test is terrible, so that's the first thing I though of this when it started. Cage and Styles play their gimmicks of asshole and rube VERY well and are consistently the highlights of TNA, and yet again they were in this match. Sting was bleh as usual. Test or the Punisher or whatever, was clearly roid ravaged to the point he can barley walk. Abyss took his usual sick bumps and added nothing else besides that. Tomko I can't take serious unless Bernard is near. The angle with Cage/Abyss is rather terrible and drawn out FAR too long. This will hopefully end it and lead to a Cage/Styles tag title run and Abyss feuding with Ricky Banderas, which should be good.

As the PPV draws near it's end, I think that so far 4 things in this whole PPV made me happy and I again regret buying a TNA PPV.

Kurt Angle beat Samoa Joe for Every title to ever exist ever. I remember when the thought of Joe vs. Angle gave me an erection. Now...it just makes me sad. I hate to say it, but Angle CAN'T go anymore and his matches with Joe illustrate this more and more. Joe is clearly the superior worker here and shows is waaay too much on Angle, who looks like he'll be dead soon. Once again they did the same finish with both teasing pinfalls/submission with their respective finishers. Meh. I forgot to mention Angle's HAWT wife and a Thomaseli were in the front row, cheering on Joe against Angle. Obviously, she turned on Joe and allowed Angle to win everything and buried Joe even more. Poor Samoa Joe. He's easily the best American wrestler today and is basically buried monthly. I get he hasn't re-signed with TNA, but still. Joe deserves a win now and then. I wonder where Joe goes from here. Hopefully back to ROH...or dare I say it....WWE? And yes, I actually would like to see a Joe run in the WWE. WWE has been relatively good with it's ROH alumns and Joe is easily the best ROH alum out there now. I really think he could do somewhat well in the E. Call me crazy.

But yeah, that's Hard Justice. Yet another meh TNA PPV with the same old crap. All of my TNA PPV checklist have been checked off:

    • Alex Shelley loses: check.
    • Abyss bumps: check.
    • A million run ins: check.
    • Don West's continued pissing on the grave of Gordon Solie: Major check.
    • Me feeling like a retard for spending 30 bucks on this: check.

I'm off till Monday and Raw at MSG...should actually be good...Raws from MSG usually are.
