Earlier in the evening, the predecessor to the RAW Roulette was used to determine the gimmick match that would settle this feud. One has to wonder, "what is with professional wrestling's reflex to settle a good number of feuds in matches that involve poles?" Well, it's been a long time since we've seen any decent weapon on a pole match. It's a good thing Jake Roberts is in this contest, because he can carry Sting to make this rather interesting for a WCW match. Well... he can until he smells that beer in the front row... Oi...
