The Takada Monster Army may be on the ropes after the Esperanza has been defeated, but they are by no means defeated. In fact Generalissimo Takada always finds new ways of bringing in new monsters; in this case, he brought in Bob Sapp to finish off the one who destroyed the Esperanza, Wataru Sakata. Eiko isn't there to save her husband's ass this timelike she did against the Esperanza. He's not fightin' just any MONSTER, he's fighting the BEAST.
