Yeah, I guess it is. Well, let’s get this rolling (insider pun intended).
UFC 2009 Undisputed is produced by Yuke’s and THQ, current holders of the WWE and NJPW licenses. Let’s be serious for a moment, no MMA game has ever been good, so the developers had a low bar set. This game has come out to serious hype and since I had obtained this game last Friday, I figure I should spoil the whole experience for all of you. I am a hater, after all. So did they succeed?
March 12, 2000- Extreme Championship Wrestling "Living Dangerously 2000":
Every so often, a wrestler of historical significance in our favorite pseudo-sport will show his face in ECW, and the fans will eat it up. In this case, the American Dream, Dusty Rhodes shows up and does battle with another old-school character... Well, he isn't particularly old at this time, but Steve Corino is the "King of Old School", and used his stance to constantly alienate the ECW fanbase. You'd think that a guy like Dusty Rhodes would respect that Corino would stand up for a history that Rhodes helped build. The American Dream, however, is a face of the highest caliber, plus he can throw down for a war if he has to. As well-schooled as Corino is, why would he try a Bullrope match with a guy with as extensive a history as Dusty Rhodes has with matches like this?
Behold quite possibly the greatest videro game wrestler of all time, Zangief of the Street Fighter series. Any and all wrestling fans should learn to use him, because wrestling is horribly under-represented in the arcades. Wait, arcades are dead? There is online, so that if you can't beat anyone mano-a-mano, maybe you have lag to help you. Maybe you fight el Capitan on X-Box Live (GiantEnemaCrab) or me on Playstation Network (Nunnayadambiness). PRO WRESTLING IS STRONGEST!
